Feeding Directions

Directions: Horses:
Alfalfa Cubes Are Generally Fed As A Portion of The Dietary Forage, Along With Hay and (Or) Pasture and Grain Mix. Feed Manna Pro Premium Alfalfa Cubes At The Rate of 0.25 to 0.50% of Body Weight Daily (2 1/2 to 5 Pounds Per Head Daily For A 1,000 Pound Horse). Some Horse Owners Prefer to Use Alfalfa Cubes As The Only Source of Dietary Forage. For This Application Feed Manna Pro Premium Alfalfa Cubes At The Rate of 1 1/2 to 2% of Body Weight Daily (15 to 20 Pounds Per Head Daily For A 1,000 Pound Horse). Even Though Manna Pro Premium Alfalfa Cubes Can Be Used This Way, It Is Recommended That Horse Be Fed A Minimum of 2 Pounds of Good Quality, Long-Stem Hay Per Head Daily to Help Maintain Proper Gut Function and to Reduce The Incidence of Stable Vices. Special Considerations: For Horses With Poor Teeth, Manna Pro Premium Alfalfa Cubes Should Be Soaked In Warm Water Before Feeding. This Will Cause The Cube to Loosen, Making It Easier to Chew. The Cubes May Need to Soak For Up to One Hour. Manna Pro Premium Alfalfa Cubes Should Also Be Soaked Before Feeding to Horses That Are Prone to Bolting Their Feed and (Or) Choke. Feed Manna Pro Premium Alfalfa Cubes At The Rate of 0.25 to 0.50% of Body Weight Daily (21/2 to 5 Pounds Per Head Daily For A 1,000 Pound Animal). Sheep and Goats: Alfalfa Cubes Are Generally Fed As A Portion of The Dietary Forage, Along With Hay and (Or) Pasture and A Supplement. Feed Manna Pro Premium Alfalfa Cubes At The Rate of 0.25 to 0.50% of Body Weight Daily (1/4 to 1/2 Pound Per Head Daily For A 100 Pound Animal).
